Surrey, BC – May 10, 2023 –Coast Capital members have re-elected incumbent director, Valerie Lambert and elected new candidate, Lois Nahirney to its board of directors for three-year terms.
The results, announced at the credit union’s Annual General Meeting on April 27, 2023, were based on the results from a total of 7,730 member votes.
“Thank you to the members who expressed interest in contributing to the success of the credit union and considered running as director candidates for our board this year,” says governance & nominations committee chair, Chris Trumpy.
“I would also like to recognize Leanna Falkiner who has concluded her tenure on the board. Thank you, for your commitment to the board over the past three years, Leanna. We wish you all the best.”
In addition to the election of Coast Capital’s directors, members voted in favour of the resolution to appoint KPMG LLP as Coast Capital’s Auditor for 2023.
