Share your unique promo code with family and friends to use when they apply to become a personal or business member before March 31, 2025. You'll earn $100 per successful referral1, up to a maximum of 10 referrals.

When sharing your unique promo, tell your family and friends about the new member offers available and how to get their cash bonus for joining. For new personal members, see offer details. For new business members, see offer details.

You can refer your friends or family as long as they are Canadian residents (Quebec residents not eligible) and haven't had a membership with Coast Capital within the last 5 years. This offer applies to both new personal and business banking members.

If your friends or family opened a business banking account, you can expect payout by August 31, 2025 if all the eligibility criteria was met.
 
If your friends or family opened a personal account, you can expect payout within 60-90 days following the completion of the eligibility criteria, please refer to the chart below:

Yes. If you add a new member to a joint account, the new member will be eligible for the chequing bonus and you'll be eligible for the referral bonus, as long as they use your referral code when signing up. Joint Accounts are only eligible for a single Cash Bonus Offer per banking product opened.

Please note: To be eligible for the referral bonus, existing Coast Capital members must be a member in good standing for at least 3 months before the offer period.

You will only receive the bonus if your friend used the code you provided to open their account.
You can refer an unlimited number of friends and family, but you will only receive a bonus for the first 10 referees who qualify.

How will I know if the people that I referred opened an account and met the qualifications?

We are keeping track of everyone signing up on our end. If your friend/family has met all the requirements, you will receive $100 in your account. You will not be able to check the status of any of your friends/family accounts.

 

Is there a time limit to refer?

This is a limited-time offer, your friends/family must join Coast Capital by March 31, 2025. Offer could end earlier.

 

I lost my code, how do I get a new one?

Use the form located on the page above, enter the email you use to do your banking at Coast Capital, and we will email the code to you.
