Surrey, B.C. (April 29, 2024) – Coast Capital members have re-elected incumbent directors Susan Dujmovic and Nancy McKenzie, and elected new candidates Gigi Chen-Kuo and Andrew Petter, to its board of directors.

The results were announced during the credit union’s Annual General and Special Meeting (AGSM) held on April 25, 2024.

The four elected directors have each been elected a for three-year term.

“I commend the members who expressed interest in contributing to the success of Coast Capital and considered running for the available positions on our Board. I also thank each of the members who took the time to vote,” said Chris Trumpy, chair of the governance and nominations committee.

In addition to the election of Coast Capital’s directors, members passed two ordinary resolutions and voted on a special resolution that did not pass.

At the conclusion of the AGSM, Board Chair Bob Armstrong thanked members for their ongoing engagement and departing board directors Chris Trumpy and Pharid Jaffer for their service.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the contributions of Chris Trumpy and Pharid Jaffer, who are concluding their time on the Coast Capital board,” said Bob.
