JABC
We're helping BC's youth learn money management skills through the JA British Columbia's Dollars with Sense Program.
Coast Capital Savings is the exclusive BC sponsor of Dollars with Sense, a financial literacy program designed to teach the fundamentals of money management to students in grades 7 through 9.
How we help.
Through our support of JA British Columbia (JABC), we’re helping ensure thousands of youth across BC will receive financial literacy training through the Dollars with Sense program.
Dollars with Sense is a fun, interactive and hands-on program that teaches youth money-management skills, including: knowing the difference between wants and needs, preparing a budget, being a smart shopper and understanding the cost of credit.
In addition to providing financial support to the Dollars with Sense program, we encourage our employees to volunteer with JABC delivering Dollars with Sense programs in schools across BC. Many of our employees are dedicated volunteers with the program.
Our Youth Community Investment strategy aims to help build a strong financial future for youth in your community. Youth empowered with the principles of good money management have a greater chance of building a strong financial future.
