Negotiations between Canada Post and CUPW have resumed and you can find updates on the Canada Post website. The following options are available to members should a postal service disruption occur:

Sign up for eStatements
Register for our digital banking services and sign-up for eStatements to have access to important Coast Capital documents during the service disruption.

Pre-Authorized Debits or Direct Deposit
You can set up pre-authorized debits or make direct deposits to avoid any inconvenience with your payment transactions.

Not using digital banking yet?

It’s easy to set up digital banking. Follow the steps on our website and we’ll help you along the way. Digital banking will allow you to check account transactions, pay bills, transfer funds and send or receive e-Transfers through Coast Online® and the Coast Mobile Banking® app.

Don’t miss making payments

Even during a postal service disruption, you are still required to continue making payments to credit cards, lines of credit, mortgages, etc., to ensure your account remains in good standing.

Government cheques and other mail

Should a service disruption occur, Canada Post will provide updates on how some government cheques will be delivered. Visit their website for the most current updates.

If you anticipate receiving mail from other companies you deal with, consider contacting them to arrange for digital delivery of your documents.

Visit a branch or contact our Advice Centre

You can speak with a member of our staff who can provide you with a statement during regular business hours at any of our branches. Or call our Advice Centre at 1.888.517.7000, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Be sure to check our website periodically as we will provide updates if the service disruption is lengthy.
